Cloud Sand

A while back on Pinterest I saw Cloud Sand.   I have been wanting to try it out with the kids.  About 2 weeks ago I finally made it.  My son had so much fun, he played for hours and we had to beg him to stop playing and come eat. Since then he has played with it often.  The last time I made it up, I just kept it in a large plastic container for reuse.

It is a mixture of flour and baby oil.  It feels light, fluffy and smooth.  It is moldable and great for sensory development.  I warn you, it can be really messy.  The good thing is that it is also easy to clean up with a broom, or vacuum. I am telling you it has already provided hours of entertainment for my kids.  The batch we made was with aloe baby oil so it also makes the house sound so fresh,

Today my little guy played hours again with the cloud sand and cannelloni shells.  It was so cute to watch him and I played along for a little while too.

How to make it:
Mix 8 parts flour to 1 part baby oil until you have a mixture that is light and fluffy, but moldable.
