A while back on Pinterest I saw a pin of a towel folded over and stitched to make pockets for toothbrushes! I knew I had to do this for many reasons. I have the tube toothbrush holder that I have been sharing with my son. It is hard to fit 2 brushes inside, they keep moisture, and are not practical to store your toothbrush in while you are away. On the last trip a couple of weeks ago I turned our toothbrushes bottom to bottom and forced them into the tube. While we were there I stored each brush in one half of the tube to avoid them touching the countertops. I wished I had a place to keep them, because I really didn't want any part of them on the counter.
Last night I made my own carrier and I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. I took 2 old towels and some fun owl fabric my mom sent me from the states. I sewed the fabric to the back of the first towel and then cut the other towel in half and used it for the pockets. I used a cute elastic ribbon to make the tie after you roll and close it. This is not only cute, but it will serve to protect and carry my toothbrush when we travel. While we are away I can keep my things of of the counter and in their own special place. Once we return I can wash it ! AWESOME!!
Take a look and tell me what you think.

DeleteWhat an adorable idea! Love it. I can totally relate to the ick factor in restaurants and stuff. And airplanes? Don't even get me started. I use a whole Clorox pack once we sit down!
