For the past several weeks I have had a strong craving for Apple Chips. I have been getting them at a store, I don't usually shop at and is a little out of the way for me. I decided to try and make my own.
My little helper and I got to work...it was really fun and easy. We used my utility cutter to slice them really thin. I placed them in water with a squeeze of lemon juice to keep the color. That is what I do when I slice them usually. It keeps them from browning. Then we placed them on a large baking sheet with backing paper. We sprinkled them with cinnamon and sugar. We baked them for 45 minutes at 110 C or about 200 F. They tasted so good in fact that no one else has ever tried them. My helper gobbled them all up. I figured it was ok. We only used one apple to make them.
