As a mom of 3 I need to be prepared. Honestly it happens often that with as much as I have in my bag at all times, I still need more. We had an accident yesterday at a friends house and it reminded me again how I need to be better prepared. Always on the hunt for clever ways to be as organized as I dream of being... I saw this on Pinterest. My friend Miriam pinned it.
I realized I could easily do that, and in fact had most everything in my purse already. So I took my half empty toiletry bag that I keep for travel. I filled my repurposed altoid and tic-tac tins and all the pockets to create this awesome bag! I call it my Whatcha need bag. Ha Ha!
So now I have almost everything I need in one little bag. I also have more room in my purse for another set of extra clothes which I needed yesterday. I would love to hear your thoughts!
Great job! We also had an emergency yesterday (Joy skinned her knee on the way into church. Blood was everywhere!) and it made me think about this! Luckily, we have a doctor friend who was right there with us when it happened and was stocked with bandaids. Still, this mama should be a little better prepared than I was yesterday. ;)
